Airplane posters are in great demand and KLM is a well-known Dutch airline. KLM started flying 3 times a week between Amsterdam and Batavia (present-day Jakarta) in 1929, so we reckon this poster is from the 1930s. This poster was intended to hang in the Dutch offices as it advertises the trip to Batavia. There is also a version advertising Batavia to Amsterdam and it is more widely used on the market. This poster cannot be found anywhere else on the internet, which makes it extremely valuable. Possibly also much more than the price at which we sell it.

Condition

We only give the poster's condition 7/10, as you can clearly see that the poster is far from new. It has some creases and general wear, but it is very charming wear and the image itself is undamaged

Frame

The frame is not included in the price. We recommend that you buy a frame with museum glass, which protects optimally against UV, so that you can preserve the poster's colors and value.
