British travel poster promoting some of the UK travel destinations: 1) Northern Rhodesia 2) East Africa 3) Southern Rhodesia 4) Jamaica 5) Nyasaland 6) Barbados 7) Malaysia 8) Cyprus 9) Malta 10) The British Isles. We do not know the artist or the year, but the countries mentioned reveal quite exactly when the poster is from. Rhodesia with to Zimbabwe in 1966. Nyasaland was established in 1907 and became Malawi in 1964. The colony of East Africa existed in 1920. Thus, we can conclude that the poster here was made between 1907 and 1920. We guess the 1910s.

Orient Line - also known as The Orient Steam Navigation Company - was a British shipping company with roots dating back to 1797. From the beginning of the 20th century, a merger started with P&O, which became a 51% shareholder in 1919 and which completely took over Orient Line in 1966.

The poster has some scratches on the edge, and folds which should disappear in a proper frame. Although it is more than 100 years since the poster was made, it is in excellent condition. We have not seen this original vintage poster on the market before and it will probably never show up in this great condition again.

The frame is not included in the price. See our large selection of exclusive frames that can be made precisely to the poster.
